HKUST Popular Science Talk: The Quality Of Air

The Science Department organized a half-day visit to the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on the 10th of December, 2021. Secondary 5E, 2M and 2E students had an opportunity to learn more about the past and present air quality in Hong Kong through the popular science talk presented by Professor Arthur Lau in the Division of the Environment in the HKUST. Apart from the science talk, students could understand more about the latest instrumental methods in air quality assessments. In this activity, students revised what they have learned in lessons concerning air quality and understood some innovative technological methods to help tackle air pollution problems, which help them cultivate environmental awareness in our community.
