March into Reading– Our Annual Book Fair
Date: 07/03/2026
In celebration of reading and the joy of discovery, our school library was proud to present the annual Book Fair, a three-day literary event held in the school hall. Aimed at fostering a love for reading and broadening students’ intellectual horizons, the fair invited everyone to dive into a sea of books and explore the wonders hidden within the pages.
The fair featured a wide selection of Chinese and English titles, covering genres from literature and history to society and culture—all available at special discounted prices to encourage students to bring their favourite reads home. To help guide students in making thoughtful choices, the library had specially prepared a “Teachers’ Picks” booklet, where subject teachers shared their personal recommendations, offering a curated path through the vast world of books.
Beyond being a marketplace of stories, the Book Fair also served as an extension of the classroom. During Chinese and English lessons, teachers led their classes on guided visits, blending learning with literary exploration. These tours were designed to spark curiosity and introduce students to new genres and ideas under the guidance of their teachers.
Adding a touch of creativity and keepsake value to the event, the library had invited three talented students—2S Law Chi Wun, 3E Law On Ki, and 5A Wong Kit Ying—to design exclusive colour stamps for the fair. Teachers and students could collect these unique prints as a memento of their visit.
With enthusiastic support from parents, teachers, and students, the campus was filled with the fragrance of books and the warmth of words. Through this meaningful event, we hope to inspire every student to explore further in the world of reading—broadening their minds, enriching their hearts, and nurturing a lifelong love for learning.
