Arrangement during Lunar New Year School Suspension
Date: 29/01/2020
Dear colleagues, parents and students,
In view of an increase in the number of confirmed and suspected Novel Coronavirus infection cases and the increasing risk of the spread of the virus in crowded environment in a short period of time, the Education Bureau on January 25 announced that all schools will extend their Chinese New Year holidays to February 16 (i.e. class resumption on February 17) to safeguard students' health.
To make a good preparation for class resumption during this period, students, parents and colleagues are strongly advised to stay in Hong Kong and to ensure that they are free from fever or any respiratory symptoms. Please refer to the press release by the Government for details:
During the class suspension period, our school premise will be kept open from 9am to 3pm (Monday to Friday) and from 9am to 12nn (Saturday). Students should avoid going to overcrowded places and stay at home as far as possible. Our school will also actively discuss with various stakeholders about the arrangement of the scheduled assessments and activities during this period.
Our teachers will provide learning materials to students through emails, school homepages and other effective means to facilitate students' self-learning at home while the Mock HKDSE Examination will start on the first day of the class resumption. Please keep yourself updated with the school announcement.
Wish you good health and lasting prosperity in the Year of the Rat.
Yau Chi-leung
Principal
